Reese Dutchman's Deluxe Onion Burger

Ingredients
1 lb hamburger meat
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
2 jars of Reese Specialty Food’s Original Caramelized Onions (split up in the burger, mayo, and on top)
¼ cup of mayonnaise
2 brioche buns
Butter lettuce
Sliced onions
2 slices of extra sharp cheddar cheese
Directions
- Combine hamburger meat, salt, pepper, garlic powder, 2 tbsp Reese Original Caramelized Onions, and the egg together in a medium bowl.
- Form the meat mixture into 2, ½ lb burger patties and start cooking them either on the grill, flat top, or on the stovetop.
- In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise and 2 tbsp Reese Original Caramelized Onions.
- When the burgers are nearly done, top each with a slice of cheddar cheese until melted.
- Remove the burgers from heat and place the patty on a caramelized onion mayo brushed brioche bun.
- Top the burger more Reese caramelized onions, a piece of lettuce, and a slice of onion.
- Serve with fries if desired and enjoy!
