Game Time Winning Grub
Recipes that make your home team cheer? That’s a game time win! The countdown to the Big Game is on and no matter who you are rooting for, one thing both sides can agree is on their love of football food! Here’s our Game Day playbook to help you become the MVP of the party.
First Quarter: Chips, Dips & Apps
Get ready for kick-off with crowd-pleasing apps. We recommend mixing the classics like Pigs In A Blanket and 7 Layer Dip, with some innovative recipes like Loaded Potato Nugget Nacho Dip and Mac & Cheese Corn Dog Muffins. And don’t forget to make sure there’s a dip that meets everyone’s dietary restrictions- this recipe for Vegan Buffalo “Chicken Dip” is sure to do the trick!
Second Quarter: Sandwiches & Sliders
Simple enough to make in bulk and even easier to serve - sandwich platters sliders are perfect for your Big Game parties. Of course, there’s always the option to buy our hoagie platters, but if you’re looking to whip something up yourself, we have a play for you.
Try these out of the ordinary, Loaded Mac n Cheese Sliders and Spicy Hawaiian Sliders and wow everyone. We know that anything that requires a slow cooker is great for parties. These Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sliders are one of our favorites that
you can prepare in the morning and not worry about it until game time.
Third Quarter: Wings & Things
Are you Team Wet Wings or Team Dry Rub? Flats or drumsticks? Bone-in or bone-out? Create your own tournament on game day with the battle of the best wings. For flavor, we recommend the Spicy Sesame Chicken Wings, for plant-based eaters Cauliflower Buffalo Wings are a must-have, and don’t forget a classic like Old Bay Buffalo Wings. Have your guests vote on which style wing gets to be named champion.
Fourth Quarter: Sweets & Treats
It doesn’t matter who’s winning and who’s losing when coach brings out dessert. End the game with one final, sweet play by serving up treats everyone will be cheering for. Some of our favorites are S’mores Popcorn Snack Mix and OREO Cookie Football Cupcakes for festive options.
