Preparation & Usage
Easy setup Brita Original™ Filters fit in all Brita Pitchers** **Excluding stream Rinse filter with cold water for 15 seconds prior to setup. 1 Insert your filter into the reservoir. Press firmly for a tight seal. 2 Press and hold the filter life indicator button to reset. 3 Add cold tap water. Discard the first three pitchers or first dispenser of filtered water. Replace filter every 2 months§ or 40 gallons. §Approximate timing based on 40-gallon filter life and average family usage of 11 glasses per day It is normal for carbon dust to appear in your first 3 pitchers or first dispenser.
