Instructions for use • The mask is a personal protective equipment classified as category I, in conformity with the European Regulation (EU) 2016/425. • This equipment enables you to see underwater and breathe on the surface without taking your face out of the water. For recreational water activities only. ● Avoid violent impacts to the mask lens and never dive into the water face down first. • To prevent the lens from misting, treat the inner surface of the lenses with an anti-fog solution and then rinse thoroughly in water. ● Adjustment and removal of any type of diving mask must be handle with care, especially when wet; immediately stop use in the event of irritation. ● Do not pull the lenses away from your face, they can spring back and hurt your eyes. ● Note that the flange is designed to fit between the inside of the lips and the teeth. • Do practice while standing in shallow water. Water will enter your snorkel from time to time and when you dive. This is normal and you must practice blowing sharply to get rid of it again. • Do keep in mind how far you have swum; the return journey may be exhausting. • Do blow out a little through your nose if you feel that the mask is being flattened against your face by water pressure. • If you want to venture below 3m (9ft - 10ft) do seek advice from a properly qualified instructor (i.e. a member of the National Underwater Instructors' Association) or from other Sub-Aqua Club or any similar organization. ● Do not take more than 3 big breaths before descending below the surface. Over breathing could make you lose consciousness underwater. ● Be warned that as you descend your natural buoyancy decreases. This means that you may have to swim upwards before you can begin to float back to the surface. • If fitted to a snorkel, a valve is of little value except to the newcomer who wishes to stay on the surface. If, after a little experience, you wish to use the snorkel for breathing in between excursions below the surface you will find that, with a little practice, it is both safer and easier to discard the valve and to blow out any water that has entered the tube with a quick, sharp breath out on reaching the surface. ● The safety colored adhesive on the top of the tube makes the diver visible when surfacing and must therefore be replaced if lost or discolored. ● Regularly check the product for cracks. If cracks appear, discard the product Recommended lifetime after purchase: 2 years. • Select the mask that fits well and feels comfortable on the face and head. • To obtain the maximum life from your snorkel and face mask: ● Avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight and air. ● Avoid contact with oils and greases. Some sun creams and lotions are of an oily composition. ● Avoid exposure to heat and contact with hot surfaces. • After use, rinse with clean fresh water. Never use detergents of alcohol as cleaning agents. For you safety read the enclosed instructions
