Instructions Separate all pieces and hand wash thoroughly with warm water and a soft cloth. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Add cool or room temperature water to the base just below the valve. Insert the stainless steel filter into the base and fill with ground espresso. Do not tamp or press coffee grounds into the filter. Clear away any remaining coffee from the sides of the filter and base. Place the upper pot onto the base and screw on tightly. Do not over tighten or use the handle for leverage. Once the top is secured, place the espresso maker onto your desired cooking surface. This espresso maker is safe for all stove types including gas and induction. For gas burners, make sure the flame is not larger than the base of the pot. Once the pot is boiling, wait until the top of the pot is filled with coffee before removing it from the stove. Use caution when removing the espresso maker as the product will be hot. Be careful not to let the coffee boil over and out onto the cooking surface. Tip: A light colored foam will form just before the coffee is completely done brewing. Stir, pour and enjoy your espresso!
